Bernardo is the fourth GalSpan wingman available for hire in the Job Board. He rarely speaks. Whenever he does, it is a few words at a time, which only adds to the mystery surrounding him and his origins.
Wingman Description[]
Only recently did you find out that Bernardo was real. Before that, you, like every other flyer, assumed he was a myth created by the GalSpan marketing department to make Bora fighters lose sleep at night. Bernardo is the best of the best but even though you man be the one to hire him, there is always that feeling that he is really working for someone else. Even if this is the case, he is able to get your assignment done with speed and precision.
Rumors abound about Bernardo and the ones that are spread by those who actually know he is real tend to be the strangest. Some say he is the pinnacle of bio-engineering, others claim he is allowed to use experimental GalSpan weapons that help him maintain his superiority. Whatever the truth may be, he is the best.
Bernardo is not always easy to find. He generally shows up when your mission may suit his needs, not the other way around. He is a man of little words. He does his talking through his actions and with a Letzer rating of 99; he speaks loudly to those who oppose him.

- Bernardo has the highest Letzer rating of any wingman.
- Bernardo says the least of any wingman upon hiring him, speaking only three words. Additionally, he has the largest wingman description of any hirable pilot, which seems to poke fun at the fact that more is said and hypothesized about him than he ever lets on.
