Notorious pirate lord, Redship Rory, escaped from Star Patrol custody today. During a prison barge transfer, a small number of unregistered attack ships bombarded Star Patrol defenses. Although no lives were lost, Rory disappeared during the confusion. Redship Rory was arrested recently for a long list of trans-galactic felonies including murder, spacejacking, and grand theft. He is alleged to be the leader of the infamous Blood Clan of the Fringe. Ships heading to the Fringe are warned by Star Patrol to exercise caution while travelling.
