The Review is a contract offered at Olympus Starbase.
Story[]
While much of GalSpan's progress comes from its pilots winning in combat on the front lines, sometimes the corporation's political battles hold more importance than its spaceborne ones. This is especially true when it comes to appeasing the shareholders from the Board of Directors, who hold a large stake in GalSpan's funding.
Jake Logan's rising status within the company earns him escort duty for three of these shareholders, and the Aquarius and its entourage of shuttles becomes his priority for the day. The board members' plan is as simple as it is boring: take a quick tour of the Ceriphilon Production Facilities to ensure GalSpan's mining operations are at expected capacity, then move on to Prometheus Production Sector to finish the review.
But when a Bora carrier jumps into Ceriphilon midway through the inspection and deploys Daggers to assassinate the board members, Logan jumps into action. He is defending the members as much as he is defending GalSpan's reputation among other shareholders.
Although the carrier quickly exits the sector, the eleven Daggers it leaves behind give Logan more than enough to work with. The Daggers are weak, but their numbers allow them to keep slipping past him and scoring shots on the shuttles. With enough effort though, Logan eliminates the assassins, saves all four shuttles, and guides them to Prometheus Sector without further interruption.
Back at Olympus, Tricia Bales reports that while the presence of Bora intruders left a bad mark on the review, a plus is that the board mandated that additional weaponry be given to GalSpan contract pilots, giving the Galactic Spanning Corporation a greater edge against any who threaten its progress in the Fringe.
Strategy[]
Breakdown[]
- Fly to Ceriphilon Production Sector.
- Destroy 11 Daggers. The Aquarius must survive.
- Escort the Aquarius to the Prometheus Production Sector gate.
Execution[]
Once you are in Ceriphilon, fly out to the scrap field on the far side of the sector. Wait by the two pieces of crane scrap until the Bora carrier arrives. If you are impatient, you can instead enter and exit the sector to force the carrier to spawn sooner.
The carrier will release eleven Daggers in waves. You will be able to destroy all of them from your vantage by the scrap. The first two Daggers attack the shuttles. The next two attack you. The next one attacks the shuttles. The next six are all released at once, four of which attack the shuttles, two of which attack you.
Keep in mind that the shuttles will still perform their loop around the left facility of the Ceriphilon Production Facilities on their way to the Prometheus Production gate, so the trajectory of the Daggers that target the shuttles will gradually change.
Once all the Daggers are destroyed, wait for the Aquarius to fly close to the Prometheus Production gate, and the mission will be won. If you are impatient, you can enter and exit the gate to Prometheus to speed the shuttles along.

Trivia[]
- In the post-mission debrief, Tricia Bales tells you to check your ship upgrades when you are able, implying that the weapon requisition from the Board of Directors earned you a new weapon or system. However, no new weapons or systems are unlocked or earned by completing this mission.
